graphic / package designs: they taste as good as they look!
The BC Food Service Expo is being held at BC Place Stadium, Vancouver from March 6-7,06. I had a chance to stop by for some design inspirations. Saw a lot of great packaging and designs from vendors and distributors of Appletiser, Big Train Inc., Kaban Tequila etc. The food and drinks taste just as good as they look in the packaging. Great job!

product design watch: if design had a scent...
If design had a scent - it would have to be the gorgeous curves of a perfume bottle. Designer fragrance labels have certainly not overlooked this fact as bottle designs represent the visual expressions of the perfume themselves. Understandably, the packaging is a key element in consumer consumption here - and as I browse through some online fragrance stores like Sehpora - I'm mesmerized by some of the gorgeous shapes and colours. Just beautiful :)

product design: Go Wodka?! Go
Came across this product a while back ... but they finally got distributors in North America. Go Wodka - Vodka in a tube - love it! Great idea for corporate functions - you can even customize the packaging for promo. Talk about thinking out of the box... I mean bottle!
